Travel with us on the road to Houston

In 2017, natural disasters caused a record-breaking $306 billion in damages in America. And when disaster strikes, 60 percent of American homeowners are underinsured, often through no fault of their own. They may receive some assistance in the immediate aftermath. But when the news cameras leave, often times, so does the help. That’s why we’re partnering with Team Rubicon, a veteran-led disaster relief organization to Fuel the Front Lines of disaster relief. Starting May 31, we’re embarking on a two-week, 1,300-mile journey from our headquarters in Minong, WI, to Houston, TX, where residents are still recovering from Hurricane Harvey. You can help us Fuel the Front Lines by donating to Team Rubicon today. Together, we can give strength and staying power to those who need it most.

Jack Links Headquarters

Jack Link’s team members learned core disaster-relief skills from our friends at Team Rubicon. By the end of the day, they were fired up to put their new knowledge to use in the world, on behalf of people who have been affected by natural disasters or may be affected in the future. You can play a role, too. Donate to Team Rubicon today.

Minneapolis, MN

Jack Link’s team members rolled up their sleeves to assemble Jack Pack kits and prepare to travel down to Houston for Hurricane Harvey relief. We were inspired by this opportunity to come together for the common good. You can help, too, by donating to Team Rubicon. Every penny goes to helping those impacted by disasters.

Omaha, NE

Jack Link’s team members rolled up their sleeves to rebuild a home in Omaha. Our Team Rubicon training came in handy and the Jack Pack Recovery Kits kept our strength up. Stay tuned as we continue our journey to Houston. We can all make a difference by supporting organizations like Team Rubicon and its rebuilding efforts.

Woodward, OK

We got a firsthand look at Team Rubicon advanced Sawyer training. Chainsaw operators, also known as Sawyers in Team Rubicon, spend a lot of time training to earn the title, and learn specific cuts and techniques. The Woodward training includes greyshirts performing wildfire recovery and mitigation cuts for property owners affected by the Rhea fire, which impacted more than 400 acres. You can help, too, by donating to Team Rubicon.

Houston, TX

It’s been an incredible two-week journey. We learned how to how to tackle disaster-relief operations head on, rolled up our sleeves and made a difference in the lives of those affected by natural disasters. And we continued the tradition and celebrated National Jerky Day by helping those who are still rebuilding from the effects of Hurricane Harvey. Here are some of the images that will last a lifetime for us. This doesn’t mean Fuel The Front Lines is over. There are many who are still picking up the pieces from the devastation of natural disasters. You can help by donating to Team Rubicon.
